CHOIR: St. Timothy's Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm and sings at the 11am
mass on Sundays. This is a traditional SATB choir
LITURGICAL ENSEMBLE: The Liturgical Ensemble rehearses with the choir on Thursday
evenings at 7:30pm and sings at the 9:30am mass on Sundays. This ensemble includes SATB singers, guitar, piano and other instruments.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR: The Children's Choir is a spirited group of children in grades 3-6. They
rehearse on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30pm. The Children's Choir sings once a month at Sunday liturgies and for special occasions.
YOUTH ENSEMBLE: St. Timothy's has many young people and teenagers involved in our music
ministry. They serve as cantors and instrumentalists. These youth musicians serve in a special way at our 5pm mass, with a rehearsal prior to mass at 4pm.
CANTORS: St. Timothy's has many cantors who sing as leaders of song at weekend masses and
daily mass.
FUNERAL CHOIR: St. Timothy's has a dedicated funeral choir that sings for all parish funerals.
All those interested are put on a phone list and contacted when a funeral is scheduled.
WEDDINGS: St. Timothy's cantors and organists provide music for all parish weddings.
MUSIC PLANNING COMMITTEE: A small group made up of our Music and Liturgy director
and members of the choir, ensemble and cantors meets regularly to plan music for our weekend liturgies.
