Praying for the needs of others is an important part of our faith.  At St. Timoty's, we have a prayer intention book in the gathering space where parishioners and others may write a prayer that will be remembered at each Mass celebrated at St. Timothy's.
Alternately, you may also call in a prayer request to the parish, and the prayer will be aded to our prayer intention book.. 
Or, you can simply e-mail your prayer intention to the following address:  [email protected]  Your prayer will then be written in the obook of prayer that is availble in our gathering space.
If you do not have access to e-mail and want to submit a prayer by phone, please call the parish office  (781-769-2522). Prayers that are submitted will be printed out and placed in our parish book of prayer, so that any time Mass is offered, these intentions are also offered up.

Often when people need our prayers, their situations can be delicate and require confidentiality. Each person can have a different comfort level with how much information is revealed about their need for prayer. It is very important to respect this desire for confidentiality.
When submitting a prayer to our prayer line, please keep the following parameters in mind so that we are safeguarding people’s privacy and respecting confidentiality when we do seek prayer.

1. Please use first names ONLY, or no names at all,  when asking for prayers for a specific person.
2. It is a good idea to ask the person for whom you are praying if they mind if you add their intention to our prayer line.
3. Please keep intentions relatively brief and keep details very general.  For example: 

1. Please pray for John who is ill. 
2. Please pray for Susan who is going through a tough time. 
3. Please pray for my nephew who is unemployed.
4. Please pray for my daughter, who is expecting a baby, that she and the baby remain healthy and strong.  .

 These are just possible examples of formatting.The main idea is to offer that prayer  to God.
